Drosera Macrantha     Bridal Rainbow Sundew

  Droseraceae

Sends up a twining stem that attaches itself to branches of other plants as it climbs. Tentacles extend out from the leaf, ending in blobs of glue which trap any insect which touches them. Within minutes the Sundew closes around the insect. Enzymes break down and digest the insect's body, releasing nutrients into the plant for its sustenance.
